Cancellation And Refund Policy

 

Emomee Entertainment Private Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013 (hereinafter referred to as “Company”) and having its registered office at Unit No. 1601, Morya Grand, Off. Link Road, Andheri (W), Mumbai-400 053, Maharashtra, India. In using the website www.emomee.com, of the Company you are deemed to have accepted the ‘Cancellation and Refund Policy’ as listed below or as may be revised from time to time, and you understand and agree that you are bound by such terms as long as you access this Website. This policy provides for the return or cancellation of any product and/or Service available on the Company’s website by a visitor or a registered user who has ordered products (hereinafter referred to as “you/your”).

This Cancellation and Refund Policy is a part of and is to be read with the Terms of Use. By using this Website, you agree to the terms and conditions of this Cancellation and Refund Policy and the Terms of Use. You also consent to our use and disclosure of Your personal information in the manner described in the Privacy Policy. The capitalized words used in this Cancellation and Refund Policy but not defined herein, shall have the meaning given to such words in the Terms of Use. If you do not agree with the terms and conditions of this Policy, please do not use this Website.

  1. RETURN OR REFUND

You shall be eligible to return or seek a refund for the product purchased on the Company’s Website if:

  1. Incorrect Product

An incorrect product has been delivered to you where the delivered product does not match the item in the order confirmation email. This is not valid for products where it is mentioned that design/styles may vary on the Website.

 

  1. Manufacturing Defect
    1. If the product you have ordered has been delivered in a damaged condition or has any form of manufacturing defect, please ensure that you take a detailed unboxing video of yourself opening the packaging box in which the product was packaged and  that the video showcases all components of the product as well.
    2. In addition to the unboxing video that highlights any defects in the product, ensure to share multiple clear images of any damage/defect to the product as well as packaging of the product which includes the external packaging brown box received during delivery.

 

 

  1. REQUISITES FOR RETURN/REFUND

In order for you to be eligible for a return or refund, all of the below required documents/information will have to be shared within 24 (twenty-four) hours of delivery, and within the Company’s working hours, i.e., 10 am to 5 pm (Monday to Friday, excluding any public holidays) to hello@emomee.com or the Company’s number on WhatsApp (+91-8655402339):

  1. The original shipping labels and invoice should be made available.
  2. An unboxing video for the product plus packaging, as well as photographs of the product and packaging, and any damage/defect it may have.
  3. Product outer box as well as all individual packaging material/components should be in the original mint condition with price tags.
  4. Products should not be used, worn out, or /damaged.
  1. TIME PERIOD

Please contact our customer care department within 24 (twenty-four) hours of delivery, and within the Company’s working hours, i.e., 10 am to 5 pm (Monday to Friday, excluding any public holidays), in case you wish to raise a return request for any of the products and your purchase meets the above criteria.

If your purchase meets our return/refund criteria stated above, please contact our customer care team over email at hello@emomee.com or the Company’s number on WhatsApp (+91-8655402339) with the details mentioned herein .

Please share the following in order to facilitate a smooth return:

  1. Order number plus date and mode of purchase.
  2. Delivery address.
  3. Reason for return/refund, i.e., whether an incorrect product was delivered or due to a manufacturing defect.
  4. Images/videos of the item and damages/defects, including the unboxing video for the product and packaging.
  5. The originally shipped labels and invoice.

Post verification, if your return request meets the Company’s criteria, the customer care team from the Company will reach out to you and explain the way forward.

  1. NON-RETURNABLE PRODUCTS

Certain products are not returnable/non-refundable and hence are not subjected to this Policy. The same will be specified on the individual product pages.

  1. CANCELLATION POLICY

If you wish to cancel your order, then please send an email to us at hello@emomee.com  with your order details and reason for cancellation. The email must be sent prior to your order being picked up for delivery and during the Company’s working hours.

Post confirmation of cancellation, your money shall be refunded to the original payment account by the Company within 5 to 7 business days, subject to internal processes undertaken by your bank.

Please note that once an order has been picked up for delivery from the Company, it cannot be cancelled. In the event any orders that are returned to the seller, the shipping costs and any other logistic costs shall be deducted any amounts payable to you as a refund.

Please note that a refund will only be initiated if it is determined by the Company that the product outer box should be undamaged and unopened, including any individual packaging material/components, all of which should be in the original mint condition with price tags.
